JULES GRANDSIRE

The Look  of the Organic

EXHIBITIONS

PROFILE

Jules Grandsire is an artist based in Paris, France. His painting project "The Look of the Organic" aims at depicting reality in unifying the common aesthetic aspects of the organic universe. The mixture of ink and wash, textured by the cracks and wrinkles of the paper creates an intense and moving landscape. Despite their abstraction, the compositions of "The Look of the Organic" take the viewers to mountains and forests from far above, skin structures, brain synapses in close-up, blood vessels, road maps or star dust clouds.

OSMOSE SPECTRALE, VIENNA

An art exhibition with special light installation by Victoria Coeln - The title "Osmose Spectrale" of the group exhibition refers to the spectral colors resulting from the decomposition of white light through a prism. In the exhibition these colors can be found either in pure form or in distinctive modulations in the works of eleven international artists. The intensive putting into the play of colors and shapes of primarily abstract works of art in different genres - painting, sculpture, photography and collage - can be a unique experience for the exhibition visitor, heightening his awareness or releasing positive energies. In addition, the Austrian light artist Victoria Coeln, together with Lyza Sahertian, develops a spatial intervention that uses colored light to make the space boundary semipermeable. In addition, Victoria Coeln's light art also brings the works of other artists even more intensively into resonance in the innovative exhibition setting.
